Attorney Our client is seeking an experienced Attorney to support their Legal and Compliance team in managing a high volume of supplier contracts. This role will focus on contract review, negotiation guidance, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline future operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to provide legal counsel on vendor agreements and support internal teams in navigating contract complexities.
This role is fully remote.
Attorney Responsibilities Review and provide legal guidance on a range of supplier contracts, including SaaS, IT agreements, non-disclosures, indemnity provisions, and consulting arrangements.
Redline and negotiate agreements in collaboration with internal teams to align vendor obligations with business goals.
Develop and maintain contract playbooks to improve consistency and support future training initiatives.
Partner with procurement and supplier management teams to enhance contract workflows and negotiation strategies.
Provide proactive coaching and education to supplier managers on contract best practices.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risk through contract modifications and updates.
Contribute to process improvement efforts, preparing for the integration of a third-party service provider in the future.
Attorney Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state; New York Bar admission preferred.
Minimum of four years of experience in contract review and negotiation, with a strong focus on commercial and technology agreements.
Experience with SaaS agreements, vendor management, and procurement-related legal matters.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise legal guidance to business stakeholders.
Background in the insurance industry, data privacy, or AI-related legal matters is a plus.
