CenterPeak is retained by an energy investments company seeking an in-house lawyer for their team. The Senior Corporate Counsel will support the company’s business lines and strategic initiatives by processing and responding to legal and business requests & managing a wide variety of transactional, corporate, compliance, and regulatory projects.

Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes:

1. Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials
2. Minimum of 5+ years of related legal experience at a reputable law firm and/or corporation
3. Depth of experience in corporate and energy transactions
4. Business-oriented problem-solving approach with an understanding of legal complexity and risk
5. Superior legal and analytical skills, including negotiation and research
6. Developed sense of judgment, risk management skills and ability to balance business needs, regulatory obligations and reputational risks in an objective, practical way
