Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) and an active license in your state of residence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm setting with a strong focus on conflicts clearance or legal risk management.
- Deep understanding of legal ethics and conflict principles, especially in multi-jurisdictional practice.
- Demonstrated ability to assess legal relationships and identify potential risks in both individual and corporate legal matters.
- High proficiency in legal research tools and systems like Intapp, Dun & Bradstreet, Lexis, Hoover’s, EDGAR, and LegalKey.
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and communication skills to interact confidently with attorneys and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a meticulous, detail-oriented mindset.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
Do Not Apply If you:
- Graduated from a Non-Top-Tier Law School – We require a JD from a top-tier institution.
- Lack Experience in the Required Legal Specialty – Relevant practice area expertise is essential.
- Have Only Worked In-House at Non-Law Firms – Prior experience at a law firm is required.
- Have Multiple Short Tenures – More than one job lasting less than 2 years without a valid reason is a red flag.
- Have Over 10 Years of Legal Experience – This role is intended for mid-level attorneys, not senior-level candidates.
- Are Not Licensed in the Required State – You must be currently licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Lack Experience at a Prestigious Firm – Experience at an Am Law 100 firm or a well-regarded boutique firm is preferred.
- Have Not Practiced Law – Roles in compliance, policy, or other legal-adjacent functions without actual legal practice do not qualify.
