This is professional work planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures relative to Medicaid Waiver and the Community Care for Disabled Adult (CCDA), program in the Suncoast Region.

Evaluates quality of services, provides training, technical assistance, and interpretation of statewide policy and waiting list policy to regional staff and providers of Medicaid Waiver, CCDA and HCDA.

Conducts programmatic monitoring for Protective Investigations, Protective Intervention, Protective Supervision and all other services programs in Adult Protective Services. Attends local and statewide meetings, conferences, and training sessions and serves on statewide workgroups aw required. Assists in the development of statewide program manuals, policies, procedures, and standards for Medicaid Waiver and CCDA. Coordinates Medicaid Waiver initiative with the Department of Elder Affairs, the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Adult Services Headquarter Program Office and the vendors to provide information and assistance in program development and planning of resource allocation methodologies. Obtains monthly and quarterly programmatic and expenditure reports and assures that they are accurate, submitted in a timely manner and transmitted to the Regional Program Supervisor and Regional Program Administrator when required.

Analyzes and critiques provider reports for accuracy and makes recommendations, as appropriate, for resolution of problems. Analyzes vendor activities to assure that, qualitatively and quantitatively, the conditions of memorandums of agreement are met. Develops a site-specific emergency operating plan for the Regional Adult Services Program Office staff. Completes assignments and handles other responsibilities for the Regional Program Supervisor and the Regional Program Administrator.
