Posted Apr 15 The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of white-collar and complex civil litigation matters. The candidate should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment completing tasks such as cite checking briefs, e-filing, maintaining firm calendar and electronic case files, assisting with document productions, conducting research, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. The candidate will also be assisting with administrative tasks around the office.

Responsibilities
- Pull electronically filed documents, organize internal electronic case file, and keep it up to date.
- Maintain and update the firm calendar with deadlines, hearings, etc.
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of court filings by drafting supporting documents, conducting fact and basic legal research, running redlines, cite checking/Bluebooking/proofreading, preparing exhibits, running TOCs/TOAs, finalizing materials for filing, e-filing materials to docket, and completing service.
- Assist attorneys with incoming/outgoing document productions such as review/tag documents on Relativity, quality check production files, create/update production trackers, and correspond with Relativity vendors.
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of state and federal trials as well as arbitrations and other evidentiary hearings such as preparing exhibits/exhibit list, pre/post-hearing briefing, exhibit printing, courtroom logistics, etc.
- Handle administrative tasks such as order/stock supplies, print/scan documents, send out mail, correspond with IT vendor, etc.
- Maintain attorneys’ e-filing accounts and assist with admissions (i.e., pro hac vice applications, federal bar admissions, etc.).
- Complete a variety of requests from senior partners.
- Work with a variety of litigation support vendors for printing, discovery collection, deposition services, service of process, and notarization.
Experience
- 3-5 years as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal is required.
- 3-5 years of experience e-filing on NYSCEF and CM/ECF is required.
- Trial and evidentiary hearing experience is required.
- Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Relativity and Westlaw preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Ability to work overtime.
- This position is full time in office for the first three months, then a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office.
- Ability to commute to Midtown.
