We’re a two-lawyer firm working with mission-driven hard tech and innovative consumer companies. Our core service model is a fractional general counsel engagement, but we also serve clients on an ad hoc hourly basis.  Website: www.paretolawgroup.com

We’re looking for a Paralegal / Legal Ops Professional to keep us and our clients running smoothly.

What You’ll Do We count ourselves among the technicians and operators that support innovative companies. Specifically, you’ll be providing the following support:

  • Legal Ops & Document Management – Maintain and organize legal records for both our firm and our clients.
  • Client Support – Directly support busy executives with HR and operational tasks when needed.
  • Corporate Governance – Assist with entity management, board resolutions, cap tables, and filings.
  • Contract Management – Track key contracts, organize templates, and manage document execution.
  • Compliance & Process Improvement – Help develop playbooks and ensure legal processes run efficiently.
  • General Ops & Admin Support – Keep things moving by handling administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Transactions. Run closings for small- to mid-size deals. 

Who You Are ✔ Exceptionally organized & detail-oriented – Nothing slips through the cracks. ✔ Able to work independently – You’re proactive and can figure things out. ✔ Tech-savvy & adaptable – Comfortable with legal tech, contract management tools, emerging AI tools and startup environments. ✔ Mission-driven – Passionate about mission-driven companies and have an optimistic view of the human condition.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in a startup, VC-backed company, or law firm.
  • Familiarity with HR or general business ops.
  • Worked with hard tech, energy, climate, or consumer product companies.
