Leading real estate company is seeking a Senior Paralegal with deep expertise in title and survey matters to support their legal team in acquisitions, developments, and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) projects.

This role will be instrumental in vetting new projects and assisting with due diligence to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. This is a full time, direct hire position.

Title: Senior Paralegal (Direct Hire) Experience: 7+ Years Location: Hybrid (Irvine, CA, USA) Schedule: Hybrid (Monday–Wednesday in office) Salary $120,000 - $150,000 yearly salary + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Title & Survey Expertise: Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and easements for acquisitions and developments.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in gathering, reviewing, and organizing key documents for legal and investment teams.
  • Project Vetting: Provide critical insights on title, survey, and easement matters related to ADUs and new developments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal counsel, investment teams, and external title companies or law firms.
  • Process Improvement: Support ongoing enhancements in legal workflows related to acquisitions and asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in title & survey work (ability to read and interpret title reports, surveys, and easement documents).
  • Background in real estate law , preferably within a title company, law firm, or in-house legal team handling title and survey matters.
  • Strong understanding of acquisitions, developments, and ADUs.
  • Experience with due diligence processes and managing legal documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Preference for candidates based in the Bay Area (San Mateo preferred), though open to Irvine & Woodland Hills.
