Litigation Attorney Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid, with travel to office required) Salary: $120,000 - $225,000 (commensurate with experience)

Overview: A leading and respected law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney with a broad range of litigation experience to work on complex civil cases in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Trial experience is highly preferred, as well as experience handling depositions and mediations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about litigation and have a proven track record of success in civil matters. PA Bar membership is required, and NJ Bar membership is a plus. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work remotely, though some travel to the office will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving broad civil litigation, including commercial disputes, contract issues, property claims, and more.
  • Handle all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Prepare and argue motions, write legal briefs, and draft other legal documents.
  • Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and ensure consistent communication throughout the lifecycle of each case.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active PA Bar membership required; NJ Bar membership is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Trial experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience with depositions, mediations, and all aspects of litigation practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, work independently, and make sound legal judgments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.
