As a member of the Consumer & Small Business Deposit, Digital & Payment Legal Team, this position will involve providing legal and strategic support to business clients and colleagues in the Consumer and Small Business line of business on various bank regulatory, state-law, digital and payment related law issues.
Truist is seeking an experienced Attorney that will be responsible for handling complex legal matters or projects. This position conducts legal research, drafts high priority documents, and handles significant product and regulatory matters. This position provides legal advice and recommendations for action to line of business executives regarding matters of some complexity, which may have a material dollar impact on business activities and operations. This position combines a knowledge of one or more legal specialties with sound business acumen and knowledge of the business goals and objectives as they relate to the issue or project. Role operates under general direction from law department management. This position may research legal principles and precedents, consult with outside counsel, draft and execute legal documents, gather relevant case related information using multiple sources and methods, and provide direction to other professional, paraprofessional, and/or support staff in developing solutions to problems presented.
