Description
Amazon is looking for a talented and experienced attorney to join Amazon’s Sustainability Legal team as we work on some of the most ambitious sustainability challenges on the planet. In this role, you’ll support Amazon’s Sustainability team with reporting and strategy, as well as force-multiplying with other signatories of The Climate Pledge. With the evolution of voluntary sustainability reporting alongside new mandatory reporting requirements being considered and adopted in many parts of the world, you will support the teams at Amazon who are working to develop new approaches and capabilities to meet those challenges and navigate this dynamic reporting environment.
As part of this role, you will work alongside many different Amazon teams, including the global Sustainability team, Public Policy, Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, and others, on our programmatic efforts to drive sustainability action and report on our initiatives and metrics amidst evolving requirements and risks. You will be a key stakeholder and strategic advisor as we continue toward our Climate Pledge commitment and as Amazon businesses prepare for reporting and other sustainability-related communications at Amazon scale. You will also collaborate on and provide support for other initiatives and legal issues related to Amazon’s sustainability work.
