We are seeking an experienced E-Billing & Legal Technology Platform Expert to support and optimize our corporate clients' CounselLink e-Billing and matter management system. This full-time role has the potential to convert to permanent within six months.

This role will be responsible for system administration, configuration, process automation, vendor management, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Legal Operations, Finance, IT, and external law firms to ensure seamless platform functionality and drive efficiency in legal spend management.

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate substantive CounselLink e-Billing technology platform proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of legal operations, billing compliance, and finance processes including, AP, invoice troubleshooting, and understanding of GLs.
  • Strong proficiency in PPT, Visio/Tableau/PowerBi for reporting and analytics preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our corporate client with the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure CounselLink for the department.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for system issues, troubleshooting, and user support. Maintain user roles, permissions, workflows, and security settings.
  • Ensure proper invoice submission, review, and compliance with outside counsel billing guidelines.
  • Monitor and optimize matter lifecycle workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain reports/dashboards on legal spend, accruals, and vendor performance.
  • Provide insights into legal budget trends, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline e-billing and matter management.
  • Drive continuous improvements in legal technology adoption and efficiency.
