Position Summary & Essential Functions
The Real Estate Paralegal is a key member of the Corporate, Real Estate, Acquisitions, Franchising and Transactions (CRAFT) sub team within the Legal Department of a growing restaurant company. The Real Estate Paralegal will provide direct support for all real estate functions of the CRAFT sub team with a primary emphasis on (i) conducting real estate closings for leasehold and fee acquisition transactions, (ii) reviewing title and survey for new and existing restaurant locations and (iii) tracking and communicating key real estate contract and lease dates to landlords, the CRAFT sub team and the Company’s development team.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Paralegal certification (equivalent work experience will be considered); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe required. The applicant should be comfortable with or willing to learn database systems, document management systems, electronic signature systems, and other web-based systems.
Other Skills: Professionalism, outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure, and the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment required.
