Position: Senior Litigation Attorney Location: Hybrid-must reside in the state of California (CA BAR license required) Job Type: Full Time-Contract Role (approximate expected duration 3-5 years) Experience Level: 5+ years. Compensation: $185K/Yr-$220K/Yr. BOE

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a strong focus on mass tort, products liability, and toxic tort cases to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in taking and defending depositions, propounding discovery, motion practice, and California Rules of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Trial Experience
• Case Management: Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, defending and drafting depositions, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft various legal documents, such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Client Representation: Represent clients in court and at mediation or arbitration hearings.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
• Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
• Trial Experience

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Must be a member in good standing of the state bar (California bar REQUIRED).
• Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in legal research and case management.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficient in legal research tools and software.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
