_ Job Description Summary
Assists in the development of the Identification of appropriate market surveys for participation; identifies and maps market benchmarks to company jobs and levels. Participates in relocation market surveys to share best practices. Analyzes the output from market surveys to identify current market values and make recommendations for policy or practice modifications; compares market values with our current values and identify anomalies; researches the anomalies, documents the issues and identifies possible corrections and resolve. Identifies issues related to relocation and assignments elements involved in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Conducts studies to determine relocation and assignment enhancements and best practices to respond to customer needs, compiles and analyzes data to make recommendations. Participates in and may lead teams. Analyzes, interprets and makes recommendations related to relocation and assignments policies, procedures, practices and processes. Seen as a subject matter expert and provides advice and counsel to customers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, domestic and international laws and regulations and agreements. Gathers and analyzes data and provide information to internal and external customers, outside agencies, governments and legal counsel for audits, litigation, benchmarking, surveys and studies. Supports union negotiation process by providing relocation and assignments information and expertise. Advises others in relocation and assignments matters and is seen as an organization expert. Participates on and may lead teams. Coordinates deployment and monitors progress and results for relocation and assignments processes, procedures, guidelines, tools and schedules. Is an advocate of, and communicates, educates and trains customers on relocation and assignments processes. Monitors and initiates corrections in compliance with agreements (e.g., collective bargaining, consulting, and service). Identifies requirements, obtains data and performs analysis. Identifies key messages and implications; creates supporting charts, spreadsheets and reports. Identifies trends and issues and make recommendations to customers and management at a site, organization or enterprise level. Monitors performance against existing agreements (e.g. destination services agreements, Goods and Services differential, Cultural Awareness Training, etc.). Audits vendor/carrier compliance to performance standards and develop improvement plan as necessary. Coordinates detailed and in-depth Program and Executive level management customers consultation regarding relocation and assignments processes, procedures, guidelines, tools and schedules. Analyzes unique and complex business situations, develops and recommends modified employee relocation and assignment proposals as appropriate. Develops/reviews the organization business case, submit for approval and advocate a position. Provides direction and trains others in accomplishing detailed relocation support activities to appropriate employees and dependents, such as: employee and dependent initial briefings to define relocation process, coordination of individual issues and issue resolution; coordination of all supplier to include: tasks involving the movement of household and personal goods; residential sales; exception identification and resolution; location transition services (home search and relocation destination follow-up); security requirements; payment services US and Non-US payroll and travel accounting services; non-US tax services and payment of all appropriate allowances; cultural and language training if appropriate. Participates in the development and understanding of relocation and assignment theory and company strategy to develop recommendation for process and practices enhancements and modifications to meet emerging financial considerations such as relocation allowability within the corporate environment and applicable tax and income impacts within the US and Non-Us locations
