Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead 10–15 simultaneous projects, spanning new site openings, technology upgrades, and infrastructure deployments. This full-time, hybrid role (4 days in office) will be based in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA , supporting high-profile real estate and IT construction initiatives. You'll own the technical project lifecycle—from pre‑planning through closeout—working closely with internal teams, vendors, and construction partners. Frequent travel is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Project Leadership: Manage design, execution, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation for audiovisual, network, cabling, print, Wi‑Fi, and telecom closet installations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as liaison among construction managers, real estate teams, SMEs, and vendors to align on technical requirements and delivery.
- Multi-Project Oversight: Handle 10–15 concurrent projects, with budgets ranging from ~$100K to $10M+, ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation.
- Tools & Reporting: Use JIRA, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint for planning, risk tracking, and updates. Conduct weekly syncs with internal and construction teams.
- Vendor and Executive Interaction: Liaise with pre‑selected vendors, procurement teams, and executive sponsors. Provide frequent updates and escalate issues when necessary.
- Documentation & Governance: Record meeting details, document decisions, track change logs. Enforce quality control in high-stakes, budget-sensitive environments.
Qualifications:
- 6–10+ years of hands-on IT/infrastructure project management, ideally with experience in real estate or construction technology.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects—network, A/V, cabling, circuits, and comms rooms.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills. Comfortable working with ~$100K–$10M budgets.
- Excellent stakeholder management—coordinating across teams, resolving conflicts, and escalating appropriately.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills: capable of scheduling, multitasking, and documenting across several simultaneous projects.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but demonstrated project experience is equally valuable.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in telecommunications, banking, hospitality, or other industries with complex IT infrastructure needs.
- Exposure to workflow-based project models, and Agile familiarity.
- Experience working in high-accountability environments—with executive-level scrutiny and costly project impacts.
- Proven judgment in knowing when to escalate vs. resolve issues independently.
Why Join Us:
You’ll be part of a lean, dynamic team managing critical technology infrastructure in new and refurbished facilities—including flagship locations like Lake Mary and Pittsburgh. This is a high-impact role where your decisions matter, and your ability to independently drive projects from start to finish will be both recognized and rewarded. Join us to help define the future of IT and real estate integration at scale.
