Posted Jul 13 The Corporate Counsel - Real Estate is a key member of the Dutch Bros growing legal team. This role is responsible for providing legal counsel to internal business partners on all business decisions related to real estate development and transactions. The Corporate Counsel - Real Estate will also work closely in partnership with internal attorney staff and outside counsel in supporting the paralegal and administrative employees on the management of a varying range of legal matters including but not limited to: leases, amendments, subordination agreements, estoppels, title, memorandum of leases, due diligence, rent commencement certificates, form drafting and other ancillary real estate work. The position requires a Juris Doctor Degree, membership in good standing of at least one US State Bar, and 3 to 5 years or more of proven legal experience. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating build-to-suit and ground lease agreements, managing lease matrices, supporting administrative staff, overseeing outside counsel, reviewing title and due diligence matters, and collaborating with various teams to provide legal advice and process improvements. The position is located in Tempe, Arizona, requiring in-office presence 4 days per week with Fridays optional for remote work. Additional responsibilities include lease negotiations, title review, property management, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and general corporate compliance.
