Essential Job Function
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day quality operations and team guidance
- Maintain and enhance ISO-based quality systems and documentation
- Conduct and lead root-cause investigations and corrective action plans
- Monitor product and process quality using SPC and other quality tools
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve process capability
- Support customer and supplier quality interactions, audits, and reporting
- Coach and mentor quality staff to build a strong quality culture
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of ISO quality systems
- Proven success leading floor-level quality initiatives and problem-solving efforts
- Experience with CAPA, 8D, RCA, control plans, and SPC
- Metals processing/manufacturing background
- Plating/coating exposure (bonus, not required)
- Six Sigma or continuous improvement training/certification
- On-site position in Indianapolis, IN
- Regular active presence on the production floor
