As a legal assistant on our corporate business law team, you’ll handle complex tasks critical to our legal function. An ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting corporate or commercial attorneys and an understanding of legal terminology, which will be used to provide administrative support for our attorneys and paralegals and to prepare legal documents and correspondence. You’ll manage attorney calendars and prepare correspondence, memoranda, PowerPoint presentations and legal documents. You will also handle a variety of administrative tasks, including assisting with the processing of outside counsel and other invoices.

This is a hybrid work position and requires at least two days per week onsite at the Mayfield Village headquarters campus. Additional days onsite may be required by business need.

Must-have Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 2 years legal work experience in a business or legal environment supporting a professional team

Preferred Skills

  • Law firm experience supporting a commercial or transactional legal practice
  • Time management and organizational skills required to provide support to a large group of professionals
  • Typing skills with special attention to grammar and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining highly confidential information
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint

Compensation

  • $28.47 - $31.63/hour
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
