Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will support our compliance program and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements applicable to a publicly traded company. This role will focus on SEC regulations, SOX compliance, corporate governance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring, implementing, and maintaining compliance frameworks that safeguard the organization’s integrity and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

  • Monitor and interpret SEC rules, SOX requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing regulatory filings (e.g., Form 10-K, 10-Q, proxy statements).
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with public company standards.

Policy Management & Process Development

  • Support the review, update, and implementation of compliance-related policies.
  • Work with control owners to document processes and ensure controls are properly designed and operating effectively.
  • Monitor adherence to policies and escalate non-compliance issues as needed.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Support SOX compliance efforts, including documentation and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Internal Audit teams to ensure effective governance practices.

Audit & Reporting

  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and responses as needed.
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the Board.
  • Track and report on remediation of compliance issues.

Training & Awareness

  • Develop and deliver compliance training for employees on regulatory obligations.
  • Communicate updates on regulatory changes and their impact on operations.

Qualifications:

Education preferred :

  • Master’s in Legal Studies
  • Master’s in Data Analytics or Compliance
  • Certifications (Highly Valued)
    • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
    • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
    • Certified Risk and Compliance Professional (CRCP)
Experience:

  • 5-7 years in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within a public company or highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and SOX compliance.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and internal control frameworks (COSO).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

The Compensation range for this role is $85,000 USD annually ( flexible) and may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors:

  • Location-based market rate for the role
  • Your abilities in relation to the job specification
  • Performance during screening and interview
  • Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
