Job Title: Senior Trial Attorney Duration: 6+ Months Location: Delaware Work Arrangement: Remote, with occasional travel for court appearances, trials, and some depositions

Summary:

• Seeking a Senior Trial Attorney for a short-term role in Delaware. This position is fully remote but requires some statewide travel for court appearances and depositions.
• Ideal candidates have experience in insurance defense, personal injury litigation, or similar areas.
• Work includes cases involving auto liability, bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and general liability. Strong skills in litigation, arbitration, depositions, and file management are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, and litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving torts, auto liability, bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and general liability.

Manage caseload effectively:

• Assume roughly half of incoming files during onboarding.
• Full Capacity: Approximately 70–85 files (varies by business need).
• Prepare for trials (though trial frequency is not high).
• Collaborate with a small legal team (2 attorneys total, including this role).

Top Skills:

• Courtroom advocacy and trial preparation.
• Strong deposition and arbitration experience.
• Litigation expertise in personal injury and insurance defense.
• Caseload and file management skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant legal experience.

Ideal Background:

• Staff Counsel or Insurance Defense (Personal Injury) experience preferred.
