Litigation Paralegal
Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Minneapolis office. Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal, preferably in a large law firm setting.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and/or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
- Experience in litigation support and case management.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in drafting and organizing discovery – both written discovery and document production.
- Familiarity with the Minnesota State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and technical skills.
- Skilled at navigating competing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff.
- Provide support to attorneys with drafting pleadings, conducting factual and legal research, document review/analysis, preparing productions, preparing for hearings, depositions and mediations.
- Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery.
- Research, organize and summarize records, as needed, to assist in data gathering, including organizing of information and documents in databases.
- Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation; trial experience is a strong plus.

The yearly salary range is between $45,000-$90,000. This position is open to all experience levels. The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, including the location where the position is filled.
