The role requires a blend of legal expertise and operational skills, focusing on managing redundancies and addressing performance management issues.
The successful candidate will also contribute to broader project work, including the development of playbooks and managing litigation and billing trackers.
Scope of Work

Hourly Pay Rate: $90 - $105 / hour

Responsibilities
- Manage and execute redundancy exercises efficiently, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic advice on performance management issues, supporting HR and management teams to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain legal playbooks and guidelines to streamline redundancy and performance management processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to keep litigation and billing trackers up to date, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Work closely with legal operations to enhance legal and administrative processes within the organization.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 4+ years of experience in employment law, with a strong focus on redundancy and performance management issues.
- Proven ability to manage and implement redundancy exercises in a compliant and efficient manner.
- Experience in developing legal playbooks and managing legal tracking systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR and legal operations.
