Job Summary Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced attorney to join the firm’s Tax Credit Finance practice. This role provides the ability to build knowledge and skills with a variety of transactional matters, including tax, energy, debt, and equity financing and real estate matters, while working closely with experienced partners. Ideal candidates are interested in joining a growing transactional practice covering deals across the country involving partnerships and corporations, tax and tax credits, real estate, and secured lending and equity finance.

  • Ability to address sophisticated legal issues

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating associated financing agreements and reviewing associated diligence

  • Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
  • Self-motivated the ability to work with a sense of urgency effectively while meeting strict deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

  • Must be currently admitted to practice with an active bar license in good standing of the locality of the office location in which the candidate sits
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in one of the following areas of practice: Tax and tax credits, partnerships, corporations, real estate, and secured lending and equity finance
  • Candidates with a portable book of business given preference, but not required

Position Information Status: Exempt Salary Range: $180,000-$300,000+ base salary, per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including experience, office location, originations, and portable book of business. Work Arrangement: Hybrid, in either Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA; Richmond, VA; or Washington, D.C.
