The Senior Attorney, Marketing and Advertising, will provide counsel to the Company’s business teams on compliance matters related to marketing, advertising, store operations, and consumer engagement. Areas of subject matter expertise include laws and regulations (1) prohibiting false and deceptive trade practices (including, but not limited to, related to matters concerning consumer facing messaging, price promotions, and influencer compliance) and (2) governing sweepstakes, gift cards, languages, online accessibility, and other areas of consumer engagement, as well as associated commercial contracting and risk assessments. This individual will collaborate across multiple business functions to support operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal guidance and consultation to ensure marketing and advertising compliance with applicable Federal Trade Commission laws and regulations and similar state laws and regulations and to negotiate commercial contracts regarding the same.
