Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the global compliance leader, you will be a crucial part of a growing global compliance team, supporting the development and ongoing management of compliance and data privacy programs and policies worldwide
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while supporting Clinical, R&D, and Commercial arms of the business in meeting their regulatory responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain current compliance policies, procedures, and processes to ensure alignment with applicable global rules
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments across clinical trials and third-party vendor engagements
- Assist with the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory filings and privacy notifications as required for global operations
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive global data privacy program, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other evolving regulations
- Effectively communicate regulatory requirements and privacy policies both internally to staff and externally to clinical partners
- Proactively identify inefficiencies across all aspects of the firm’s compliance and privacy program and develop solutions for improvement to increase effectiveness
- Address compliance issues that arise from the daily operations of the clinical and commercial business units
Requirements:
- Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree
- You must have several years of in-house compliance experience from a biotech or pharmaceutical background
- If not currently living in the greater Los Angeles area, you will need to relocate there – the position is a full time in office role, in order that key stakeholders can be effectively supported
