Position: Temporary Attorney (Optics / Physics Background)
Part-Time: 20–30 Hours per Week, 6 Months

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled temporary attorney with a strong technical background in optics or physics, specifically with experience related to fiber optic transceivers and associated technologies.
This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable working at the intersection of advanced technology and intellectual property law.
Key Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar license
- Technical background in optics, physics, or a closely related field
- Direct experience with fiber optic transceiver technology
- Significant experience in IP licensing (heavy emphasis)
- Strong background in trademark and trade secrets matters
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible workload of 20–40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating licensing agreements
- Advising on IP strategy and portfolio management
- Handling trademark matters
- Advising on trade secret protection and related agreements
- Supporting technology-focused transactional matters
This is a temporary engagement with flexible hours, ideal for a practitioner seeking high-level, specialized work in a dynamic technology environment.
