About The Role
Business Enablement is a critical function within Gap Inc.’s Legal organization that helps drive faster, clearer, and more scalable execution of strategic initiatives and complex transactions. The function serves as a bridge between Business stakeholders and different functions on the one hand and Legal on the other, supporting optimal decision-making by simplifying engagement, clarifying risk and options, and enabling teams to move high-impact work forward efficiently and responsibly.
Business Enablement supports enterprise and brand priorities by supporting legal subject-matter experts and partnering closely with business stakeholders across all functions from Marketing, Finance, Tax, to Strategy, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal Operations and more. In addition to accelerating strategic deals and projects, the function will be working in close partnership with the business and Procurement team to strengthen the company’s contracting ecosystem through improved processes, tools, and standards that scale across the organization.
The Business Enablement Counsel supports the Business Enablement function by helping drive complex transactions, strategic projects, and process improvements forward. This role offers exposure to high-impact deals and enterprise initiatives while developing strong commercial judgment, project management skills, and executive-level communication capabilities.
Working closely with the Business Enablement lead, this attorney will collaborate with legal subject-matter experts and business stakeholders to help ensure strategic matters progress efficiently, issues are clearly framed, and decisions are supported with well-structured analysis.
