Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, revising, and finalizing legal documents, including contracts, deeds, amendments, leases, letters of intent, term sheets, and closing instructions.
- Prepare closing binders for completed real estate transactions.
- Copy, distribute, and transmit completed work (electronically and/or via mail, courier, or express service), file and otherwise process documents as needed.
- Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.
- Submit intake requests and conflict checks, process time entries, and client billing.
- Maintain attorneys' calendars and schedule travel, appointments, meetings, and conferences.
- Support attorneys in all aspects of client service, relationship management, and business development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
"Who Are You?"
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate/Transactional law (preferred).
- Positive, proactive, flexible, and team player.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Experience with electronic document management systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Experience with Aderant and FileSite is a plus.
