Summary: The role involves supporting the Civil Subpoena Compliance group in a high volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Data entry of legal processes into the workflow management system.
Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail while working independently.
Problem-solving and utilizing sound judgment in handling issues.
Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Handling calls and providing strong customer service.
Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output.
Resolving deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team lead/supervisor for resolution.
Qualifications:
An understanding of and willingness to learn about basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures.
Ability to work independently.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
Customer service experience is a plus.
Proficient typing and transcription skills.
Strong computer and technical skills.
Organizational and time management abilities.
Administrative skills, including copying, filing, sorting, and mail distribution.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Commitment to working as part of a team.
Paralegal certificate is not required, but any legal background, education, or experience is preferred.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $21.00 - $22.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
