
I. Job Summary
Handles moderate to complex legal matters and projects in areas of traditional labor law, NLRB matters, collective bargaining and contract administration and helps implement Company strategy in those areas under the supervision of the Vice President, Labor.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
· Act as Company representative during collective bargaining with various unions.
· Provide legal advice and counsel on issues arising under the NLRA. Reviews legal publications and pending legislation and advises management of changes that impact the Company, business and industry.
· Provide legal advice and counsel on the interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
· Conducts risk assessment in connection with customer, vendor, operations, industry and/or business issues. Advises management on most appropriate response or action.
· Will be responsible for management of outside counsel activities as necessary including determining effective business and legal strategy to address litigation and/or other specific operations or Company needs.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no direct supervisory duties, but may occasionally act as a team lead.

A. Education and Experience
Education: Juris Doctorate (accredited)
Experience: Six (6) years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement), with particular emphasis in areas of collective bargaining and matters arising under the NLRA..
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
Required: State Bar Licensure.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
None required.
Travel requirement – Minimum of 50%
This role can be based anywhere in the United States with a preference for a major city near an airport.
