
🌍 Join Our International Trade & Investment Team as a Paralegal Clerk!

Our International Trade & Investment practice is looking for a driven Paralegal Clerk to support attorneys on cutting‑edge matters— including trade litigation, trade and investment policy research, international arbitration, trade controls disclosures, filings before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and customs disclosures and analyses.
In this role, you’ll be expected to take the initiative to innovate solutions to everyday challenges, demonstrate strong attention to detail, exercise sound judgment, possess excellent communication skills, and be collaborative and team oriented. As a vital member of the team, they may take on significant responsibility in coordinating processes for projects alongside attorneys and clients.
What You’ll Do • Manage and organize large‑scale government filings • Support attorneys with research, case prep, and client coordination • Work with outside vendors and meet tight deadlines • Maintain meticulous document organization and confidentiality • Assist on pro bono matters and firmwide initiatives
What You Bring One (1) + year of professional work experience preferred • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment • Large law firm experience desirable • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Economics or international trade knowledge is a plus
Role Details • Hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 remote) • Core hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. • Annual billable requirement: 1,650 hours

In Washington, D.C., the expected base salary range for this role is $58,500 to $64,500 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k)-retirement plan; and paid time off.
