A leading global technology company is seeking a Product Counsel to support its digital commerce and e-commerce initiatives on a contract basis.

Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $90/hour – $100/hour

Overview

This role will support a growing digital commerce function, providing day-to-day legal support across product counseling matters. Candidate will work closely with Product, Marketing, and business teams to help drive growth initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day product counseling support across e-commerce and digital shopping initiatives
• Conduct legal research and diligence on relevant product, regulatory, and compliance matters
• Support ongoing business initiatives through client coverage and participation in cross-functional meetings
• Assist in preparing materials and guidance for executive-level stakeholders
• Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Policy teams

What We’re Looking For

• Experience or interest in e-commerce, payments, consumer protection, or privacy
• Prior in-house or product counseling experience (or relevant law firm experience) preferred
• Ability to operate effectively in a supporting role within a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner directly with business stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
