Join Nationwide’s Trial Division , a national litigation team backed by the strength and purpose of a Fortune 100 company. We’re looking for a Senior Trial Attorney to lead high-impact insurance defense cases across Central Florida and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as lead counsel on diverse civil litigation matters in Florida state courts (federal court experience is a plus)
  • Manage cases from pleadings through trial , including depositions, discovery, dispositive motions, and mediations
  • Collaborate with a trial-focused legal team and claims partners to deliver strategic, client-centered advocacy
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation

Practice Areas Include:

  • General liability (personal & commercial lines)
  • Auto, UM/UIM, premises liability, dog bite, homeowner’s
  • Trucking, liquor liability, wrongful death, foodborne illness
  • Complex injury cases (TBI, surgical)
  • Subrogation and products liability (a plus)

What You Bring:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Florida bar license
  • 8+ years of civil litigation experience in insurance defense or subrogation
  • Strong trial advocacy skills and courtroom presence
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and proactive case manager
