Duration: 6 months with strong potential to extend
Pay Rate: $40 - 60 / hour ($80,000 - $120,000)

Job description:
- Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents
- Assist in managing the legal department's budget, tracking expenses, and processing invoices
- Support the implementation of legal department initiatives and projects, including process improvements and technology implementations
- Coordinate, manage, or provide support regarding the department's legal technology solutions, including document management systems and e-billing platforms
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, organize, and maintain legal documents and records
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external meetings
- Assist with the coordination and execution of legal training and professional development programs
- Contribute to vendor management by maintaining relationships and coordinating contracts and agreements
- Manage or assist in tracking legal department metrics and key performance indicators
- Contribute to the optimization of legal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Need someone who:
- Can pick up admin-heavy tasks to reduce day-to-day burden
- Is a quick learner with an interest in legal ops and AI
- Could grow into a full-time role over time
- Is comfortable supporting attorneys and responding to law firm/vendor questions
- Strong interest in AI
- Strong learning opportunity for someone early in legal ops or legal tech.
