Leading tech company is seeking a legal operations professional, with an interest in AI, to join their team.

Job description:

  • Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents
  • Assist in managing the legal department's budget, tracking expenses, and processing invoices
  • Support the implementation of legal department initiatives and projects, including process improvements and technology implementations
  • Coordinate, manage, or provide support regarding the department's legal technology solutions, including document management systems and e-billing platforms
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, organize, and maintain legal documents and records
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external meetings
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of legal training and professional development programs
  • Contribute to vendor management by maintaining relationships and coordinating contracts and agreements
  • Manage or assist in tracking legal department metrics and key performance indicators
  • Contribute to the optimization of legal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Need someone who:
  • Can pick up admin-heavy tasks to reduce day-to-day burden
  • Is a quick learner with an interest in legal ops and AI
  • Could grow into a full-time role over time
  • Is comfortable supporting attorneys and responding to law firm/vendor questions
  • Strong interest in AI
  • Strong learning opportunity for someone early in legal ops or legal tech.
  • Knowledge of SimpleLegal and Ironclad nice, but not required
