We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale regulatory, finance, and enterprise data transformation initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This individual will drive cross-functional programs involving data governance, operational controls, regulatory reporting, and technology transformation while partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing complex enterprise programs, leading cross-functional teams, assessing project risks, and delivering technology and business transformation initiatives in highly regulated environments.
Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location : Tampa, FL (hybrid) Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-year enterprise projects from initiation through implementation.
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and executive reporting.
- Partner with Business, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Operations teams to define project scope, business requirements, and delivery strategy.
- Drive regulatory change initiatives supporting enterprise data, finance, and operational control frameworks.
- Develop and implement data governance strategies that improve data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform project risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate functional architecture discussions and technology solution planning across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Support modernization initiatives including cloud migrations, enterprise platform upgrades, and process automation.
- Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders while providing regular project status updates and steering committee presentations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization and automation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide transformation and regulatory initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and change management methodologies.
- Experience working with Finance, Risk, Data Management, Technology, and Operations teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and enterprise reporting initiatives.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting, operational controls, and enterprise risk frameworks.
- Experience leading cloud migration, system modernization, or large technology transformation programs.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus.
