Director, Associate General Counsel
OPPD is building a modern, business-focused Legal Department to support a growing public power organization and the communities we serve. As Director, Associate General Counsel, you will work closely with the Vice President and General Counsel while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and business leaders across OPPD.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad legal portfolio, influence major enterprise and infrastructure decisions, and help shape the processes, tools, and practices of an evolving in-house legal function.
The Impact You Will Have
During your first 6-12 months, success will mean establishing yourself as a trusted advisor, taking ownership of assigned areas within OPPD's broad legal portfolio, building strong relationships across the organization, and helping develop the processes, tools, and practices needed to support a growing Legal Department.
This position is expected to begin as a senior individual-contributor role working closely with the Vice President and General Counsel. As the department evolves, the role may take on increasing leadership responsibilities, including the potential supervision of attorneys or legal support professionals.

Salary/Wage Information
Salary Grade: S10
Min: $166,021
Mid: $207,526
