D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Paralegal. The right candidate will work as part of a team to provide legal and administrative support to the Corporate Legal team. This is a professional position that interacts with senior attorneys and senior management.
The right candidate will have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. We offer hands-on training for internal software applications, but we expect strong working knowledge of Office Word Suite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Four to ten years of paralegal or related administration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal certificate not required but is a plus.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to prioritize, multi-task and follow projects through until complete with little supervision. Required skills include:

- Entity Formation, Dissolutions, Compliance, Annual Reports and State Filings
- Draft Board and Officer Resolutions
- Maintain Electronic Records
- Organize and Maintain Corporate Minute Books in Digital Format
- Assist with SEC and NYSE Filings
- Assist with Proxy Statements and Annual Stockholder Meetings
- Administrative and Clerical Support to Corporate Legal Team
- Other Corporate Duties as Assigned
