Boutique personal injury law firm in Encino is looking for an experienced litigation attorney to manage the litigation department.

Duties

Manage litigated cases from complaint to settlement/trial
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, oppositions, and briefs
Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Negotiate settlements
Attend mediation
Depositions - clients, defendants, experts
Communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements

Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar
3+ years of litigation/trial experience
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
Ability to take and defend depositions
Experience with legal drafting and litigation procedures for discovery motions, motions for summary judgment and all trial motions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Must be proactive and goal orientated
Bonus and/or commission opportunity may be available

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
