I am the principal founder of the Law Offices of Fariba Faiz, based out of San Francisco, California. Since its founding in 1999, my firm has served a steady client base on an in-state, national, and global level. The firm's clients comprise high net worth individual investors, small and medium-sized U.S. firms, start-ups, institutions and multinational firms. The breadth of my experience and track record of successful cases, together with my focused and holistic approach to migration and global mobility planning, using different types of immigration pathways, including EB-5, E-2, E-1, E-3, L-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, and P visas and immigrant petitions including EB-1, NIW, and PERM (immigrant visa types, makes us an invaluable partner to our clients.  

I am a seasoned immigration attorney with a proven track record of successful investment (E-1/E-2 visas and direct and regional center EB-5 projects) based and family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration. I work in partnership with multinational firms and their employees and immigrant investors to transfer, intracompany, foreign personnel and their families to the United States. I also represent individuals in immigration matters before USCIS, U.S. consulates abroad, and businesses before the U.S. Department of Labor. 

With my network of trusted advisors,  I provide consulting services to potential investors and their agents on matters such as foreign direct investment; compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act and its regulations on foreign investments and blocked transactions proscribed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); EAR Compliance, site location analysis and transfer of foreign employees; California economic development incentives; California permit and regulatory process; in-bound investment missions;  International Tax Planning; Export Credit Agency (ECA) Project & Trade Financing; and Transfer Pricing services.
