Privacy Counsel with the Legal team of a publicly traded company. Continuing to develop and manage the company's global privacy program and ensuring compliance with international, national, and state privacy and data laws, such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, ColoPA, CDPA, etc. Providing legal and non-legal guidance regarding privacy and data laws, negotiating and drafting customer and vendor contracts, including data processing addendums and security agreements, providing training and data privacy guidance across the organization, and working cross-functionally to ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and regulations.

• Experience working with and providing guidance data and privacy laws in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), Canada, Australia, United States (state and federal), and other privacy laws in various countries.
• Reviewing and consulting on complex transactions including, business-to-business (B2B) SaaS and other licensing master services agreements, data protection agreements/addendums, business associate agreements, and security agreements.
• Preparing, and assisting on, TIAs, DPIAs, sub-processor assessments, data mapping, assisting in security certification audits (SOC2 Type 2, ISO 27001, etc.), and other privacy and data law required assessments. 
• Working collaboratively within the company to provide appropriate guidance and support, and consistent application of privacy and data laws across different departments. 
• Preparing and establishing policies, procedures, and controls concerning privacy and data protection.
• Monitoring privacy and data protection laws to ensure the most up-to-date compliance with applicable laws.
• Reviewing, interpreting, and consulting on all relevant privacy and data protection laws and regulations.

Member of the Security & Compliance team developing and managing the company's global data privacy compliance program, ensuring compliance with international, national, and state privacy and data laws to protect the company and its customers, including, but not limited to, the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and HIPAA.
