Position Summary
This position provides comprehensive paralegal support in legal research activities and the preparation of legal documents. Responsibilities include: maintaining contract templates, contract review and preparation, maintaining and organizing corporate records, litigation support, and managing outside counsel billing.
Position responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Provides corporate paralegal support to resolve complex contract and transactional matters by organizing, reviewing and preparing documents and maintain relevant files
- Drafts and revise various contracts, which may include customer, real estate leases, professional services and operational contracts
- Keeps organization current on legal changes as it pertains to VASCOR business.
- Interact with internal and external associates to advise routine legal issues
- Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes
- Reviews, redlines and supports contractual terms and conditions
- Support litigation activities through coordination of responses to subpoenas, document production, discovery responses, and coordination with external counsel
- Maintains current files and contracts to ensure they are current and up to date

- Familiarity with federal and state regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures, with special emphasis on corporate commercial agreements, commercial litigations, and intellectual property
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Comprehensive excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Requires the ability to coordinate and interact with all departments within the company

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of corporate paralegal experience
- Contract Management experience
- Experience in contract law and drafting legal principles
