About This Opportunity:
We are looking for a contracts manager/paralegal who will bring some structure and best practices to our contracting and corporate governance processes. Candidate will be responsible for administration of commercial and intercompany contracts, as well as oversight of the company’s and its subsidiaries’ corporate governance structures and documentation. Candidate will also work with executive leadership to manage corporate operations activities.

What’s on Your Plate:

    • Negotiating balanced agreements: Our Paralegal ensures we conduct business at eye-level with our vendors and clients. They review, negotiate, and draft balanced vendor and client contract documents, including master agreements, terms and conditions, statements of work, renewals, amendments, and address disputes related thereto.
    • Keeping us on the right side of the law: Our Paralegal analyzes contractual requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure contract compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal company policies and procedures, and contracts conformance with company goals and objectives. There is a lot to do!
    • Staying on top of our agreements and obligations: Whether it’s assisting with the implementation and maintenance of a new contracts management system or managing various domestic and foreign subsidiary matters (which may include formation, dissolution, drafting of governing documents and required filings), our Paralegal ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
    • Partnering with the business: Our Paralegal is passionate about provide guidance to multiple stakeholders across departments on a broad range of legal and compliance issues: From ad hoc guidance (summarizing complex contractual issues, developing creative solutions to preserve and expand the business while mitigating contractual risk) to implementing streamlined, policies, procedures and processes for contracts and corporate governance.

What You Bring to the Table:

    • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years contracting and corporate governance process experience
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent technological knowledge
    • Excellent persuasion, negotiation and judgment skills
    • Strong attention to detail; organized and methodical
    • Strong leadership skills with the Utmost professionalism and integrity
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Experience providing strategic and tactical insight and thinking depending on the need of the business
    • Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues.
    • Action-oriented, self-motivated individual who can work independently and has strong organizational and personal skills.
    • Exercises reasonable judgment to determine when to escalate complex matters or decisions.
    • Ability to influence and collaborate with a variety internal business and functional leaders and external customers and vendors.
At Popmenu we believe in transparency and meeting candidates at eye-level. We know that money isn’t everything - but it is important. For this role, we have determined a compensation range of $90k to $95k in addition to company equity to be a fair and attractive offer.We would love the opportunity to meet you and learn more about you and your background.
