SUMMARY
The National Hockey League seeks a transactional attorney to provide legal support on sponsorship, consumer products, licensing, corporate social responsibility and related matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Participate as a member of the legal team supporting various NHL Enterprises transactional matters.

Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and administering legal aspects of various agreements in areas such as sponsorship, consumer products and corporate social responsibility; performing legal review of promotional materials; and handling other NHLE transactional matters, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

JD from an accredited law school. Admission (or ability to be admitted) to New York Bar required.
3+ years of corporate transactional experience.
Previous legal experience working on licensing matters a plus, but not required.
Demonstrated superior drafting, negotiating, communication (written and oral), organization and problem solving skills.
Excellent judgment and ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
A positive, team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
