What You’ll Do:

DeepIntent is looking for a commercial and technology paralegal with contracts administration experience to join its Legal Team as a Paralegal. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Data Privacy and Legal Affairs as well as collaborate with attorneys on the Legal Team on commercial, technology, and compliance related matters.

  • Review, draft, and prepare commercial contracts (NDAs, Insertion Orders, and service agreements, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain legal contract management process and improve processes or build new systems and processes to promote business scalability, while maintaining consistency and efficiency
  • Manage the life-cycle of commercial contracts, requests for information, and vendor due diligence
  • Maintain and update standard contract templates and other legal documents, including policies and procedures
  • Analyze and input data on the contracts management platform
  • Organize and manage processes on the privacy and contracts management platform
  • Draft emails for internal and external circulation
  • Perform research and draft business-friendly team memos on various compliance-related issues
  • Communicate with business and legal team members to manage expectations and drive alignment
  • Review marketing and other business documents for adherence with internal guidelines
  • Organize, categorize, and label legal documents based on key provisions
  • Track contract deadlines and facilitate contract updates and termination
  • Provide general administrative support

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a certification from an accredited paralegal program is required
  • 2+ years of paralegal experience
  • Experience reviewing, managing, and processing contracts required
  • Relevant in-house transactional or law firm experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with contracts management and administration is preferred
  • Highly efficient and organized with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive self-starter with a proactive approach to tackling projects and learning
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and other relevant computer system applications
  • Great sense of humor and a love of good food is a plus!

 

DeepIntent has adopted a hybrid work model. This role will be based in the Anaheim/Irvine/ Orange County, CA with occasional travel to NYC for business meetings.
