Job Description
The Employment and Labor Legal (ELL) group supports Intel and its 100,000+ employees by conducting world-class litigation management, ensuring fair but firm employee treatment through objective workplace investigations, and delivering outstanding employment and labor and immigration law guidance, programs, strategies and controls worldwide. ELL is seeking an US Employment and Labor Litigation Counsel who will report to the Associate Director of US Employment and Labor Litigation. The attorney will provide strategic employment litigation management and will conduct and/or supervise internal investigations of complex employment complaints.
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Strategic, risk-optimized employment litigation management, managing outside counsel, budgeting, prompt and practical legal counsel, projects and training for all areas of US employment law.
Supervise and manage Intel response to agency charges, demands/complaints, pre-litigation and litigation matters.
Attend legal proceedings and appear as deemed appropriate on Intel's behalf in legal matters.
Investigate and/or supervise internal investigation of complex employment complaints.
Determine Intel's responses to employment records related subpoenas and statutory records requests.
Advise Human Resources and Risk Management on issues related to unemployment and workers compensation claims.
Serve as trusted advisor and trainer to various Human Resources (HR), legal, and business groups on employment law and litigation issues.
Actively monitor judicial and regulatory employment law rulings, legislative and regulatory developments, and environmental factors relating to employment law, litigation and investigations that may affect Intel's business and provide employment law subject matter expertise to guide the Company's response.
Identify changes in law and ensure compliance and propose and drive/counsel guideline and practice changes.
Interact with other legal teams, Internal Audit, Corporate Security, Human Resources, Government and Corporate Affairs, the Ethics and Compliance Office and all other stakeholders on employment law, litigation and investigative matters.
Some travel will be required.

Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, manage priorities and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be admitted to a U.S. State bar, in good standing.
3+ years of employment law and litigation experience, including:
Preferred qualifications:
California, Oregon, Arizona and/or Texas bar membership and employment law litigation experience desired
Some trial experience and exposure to class/systemic/collective contested cases
Strong investigations background highly valued

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
