The Global Legal team is responsible for administering Hilton's legal activities to ensure maximum protection while engaging in global business and ensuring compliance with the company's legal obligations.

What will I be doing?

The Manager for Privacy, Data Security, and Data Protection will handle a variety of matters, including reviewing privacy clauses in contracts, managing responses to regulatory complaints, registering the Hilton Data Protection Office with relevant international Data Protection Authorities; tracking and interpreting privacy laws, tracking contract statistics and developing and maintaining the Data Protection Office’s training program. This Team Member will need to be able to juggle numerous matters simultaneously and prioritize ruthlessly.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of legal experience

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following preferred qualifications:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in Privacy and Data Protection
  • Experience advising on privacy laws and industry standards
  • Experience advising on data security best practices
  • Experience reviewing privacy clauses in commercial contracts
  • Experience reviewing proposed legislation
  • Experience responding to inquiries from NGOs, investors, and others
  • Experience partnering with various legal teams and business partners to address questions
  • Hospitality industry experience
