Scope of Position

Manage the development, oversight and execution of strategic Security programs and initiatives for Applied Materials at the site, region, and global levels. This role requires a unique combination of security/safety expertise coupled with deep program management and strategic initiatives development experience.

Key Accountabilities

Budget / results accountability for assigned projects, programs and initiatives
Manage the development of Applied Materials Security & Business Resiliency Program and related capabilities implementation around Federal Programs, guard force services deployment, investigations, events security, emergency preparedness, and managing workplace violence prevention initiatives globally
Set regional security operations expectations and oversee implementation of all contract security services contracts globally.
Establish and oversee the implementation of physical security standards for all sites globally.
Works cross-functionally to develop KPI’s & SLA’s in areas of responsibility
Leverage internal case management system to ensure proper staffing deployment
Work cross-functionally to develop and implement security awareness and training programs, including workplace violence initiatives
Other strategic initiatives / projects as needed

Professional Expertise/ Knowledge

Industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams around safety and business continuity program process implementation and emergency management (ICS) – preferably in global corporation setting
Strategic planning / program management in global security domain
Knowledge of estimating and cost associated with various system applications

Experience

15+ years in a similar role within a multi-national corporate security team
Expertise in program development and management / strategic planning & initiatives

U.S. Salary Range:

$184,000.00 - $253,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
