The Legal Operations Data Analytics Manager conducts full lifecycle analysis of legal, compliance and business data, including identification and collection of data available in the organization, turning such data into information and information into insight. This position will be in charge of maintaining the data analytics infrastructure for legal and compliance functions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain adequate data warehouse to centrally store legal & compliance data, in accordance with security and confidentiality requirements.
  • Install any necessary connections, processes for data extraction, load and transformation (ELT).    
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for legal and compliance leadership, associates and business partners.   
  • Make available data stored in the legal & compliance data warehouse to other data analysts within the legal and compliance teams and business partners.
  • Coordinate training and development of legal & compliance associates in data analytics.
  • Provide insights regarding data analyzed and trends to produce actionable recommendations to legal and compliance leadership

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Experience in Corporate Legal Department
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong critical thinking skills, able to derive timely meaning and insights from data, present finds and explain reasoning.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Data Analysis with a minimum of 2 years experience in Data Analysis or equivalent experience
  • Data analytics and management. Needs to be able to structure collection, transformation and modelling of data sources and data points. Knowledge of Excel, Power Query, PowerBI or other similar data extraction, transformation and visualization tools   

 

Travel

Approximately 20% travel (domestic & international).

 

Work Arrangement

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home. Additional information about this remote work arrangement will be provided by your interview team.

 

Equal Pay Act

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future. 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
