Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. P.C., a Mid-Atlantic regional civil defense litigation firm, seeks a New York-barred attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience to join its Manhattan or Tarrytown office.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with a competitive salary, benefit package and growth opportunities. No book of business required.

Founded in 1986, we are a dynamic firm on the forefront of insurance defense litigation. Our talented team represents clients in matters involving professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, casualty, construction defect and general liability coverage. With offices in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York (Manhattan and Westchester County), and Pennsylvania (Philadelphia and Pittsburgh). We offer our clients a regional approach to their litigation needs.

General Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to trial in matters involving general liability, professional liability and/or employment claims. Qualifications
  • 10+ years litigation experience.
  • Must be barred in NY.
  • Experience in casualty, NY Labor Law, construction defect, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and/or general liability litigation is a plus.
  • Experience at an insurance defense litigation firm is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Lexis software.
