What you will do –

​​​​​​​The Senior Contracts Specialist will serve as a key partner to Stryker's Neurovascular division. In this role you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners, and will work with business teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts, as well as analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, editing and negotiating contracts and proactively handling various transactional matters through to completion on a broad range of matters (including master services agreements, independent contractor agreements, product development agreement, training facility agreements, NDAs, HCP and non-HCP consulting agreements);
  • Acts as primary contact between the Legal Department and various business functions supporting Stryker Neurovascular, ensuring all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly;
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing core contract management processes for request, execution and filing of agreements;
  • Identifying system or process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance or reduce cost to the business;
  • Contributes to broader legal group initiatives with minimal supervision of manager or project lead;
  • Responsible for developing strong relationships to foster an advisory or collaborative approach with others within the department was well as with other functions within Stryker;
  • Follows and educates others on core contract management processes for execution and filing of agreements;
  • Making decisions of minimal to moderate impact within area of influence/ responsibility, exercising independent judgment in consult with manager and viewed as an interdepartmental resource; and
  • Assists on other matters as needed.

What you need –

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 + years of equivalent experience in addition to the below requirement required
  • 2+ years’ experience working contracts redlining and negotiation required
  • Paralegal or professional experience in law firm, corporate legal department setting, or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization required
  • High proficiency in computer systems and programs such as the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Stryker-specific systems required
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences preferred

$95-152,400k salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data.  Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
